Munish is a birding savant. What started as a part-time hobby quickly became something more serious, and he took to birding like a fish to water. By 2022, Munish was leading nature walks around the city with Bengaluru Nature Walks. He's also our everything guy: a mechanical engineer by training, a teacher, a plant enthusiast, and an excellent tour leader. We're also convinced Munish has superhuman hearing; he's always the first one in a group to pick up distant calls and tracks birds down with ease.
A fascination with wildlife at the age of 5 developed into a lifelong passion for birds for Ronith. An ecologist by training, he graduated with a master's degree in Wildlife Biology & Conservation from the National Centre for Biological Sciences, India, where he studied vocalizations in mixed-species bird flocks in the dense tropical lowland forests of eastern Arunachal Pradesh. Ronith brings an ecologist's approach to birding - his knowledge, coupled with his uncanny intuition, helps him track tricky birds even in unfamiliar terrain. His extensive experience birding across the country in all of its key biogeographic regions also makes him a seasoned tour leader!
