Ronith Urs
Ronith is Backpacker Birding’s in-house tour leader. Having traveled and birded across the length and breadth of the country for over a decade, he leads tours anywhere. Some of his favourites are the dry scrub habitats of the Deccan, the Western Ghats, and Northeast India, especially Arunachal Pradesh, holds a special place in his heart. Read more about Ronith here.

Biren Bishwa
Biren’s birding journey began in 2019, when he worked as a field assistant on a project under Dr. Umesh Srinivasan at IISc, where he learned to identify & ring birds, & track mixed-species flocks. He hails from Bichum, a hamlet in Tenga Valley adjacent to Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary in western Arunachal Pradesh, & after 2 years of fieldwork began working as a full-time birding guide. Biren is one of the most patient, soft-spoken, & hardworking guides we’ve been lucky to work with. Can’t recommend him enough!
